CASE STUDY – Property and Construction

In late May 2015 ROAVR were commissioned to obtain high quality aerial still shots of the new Scottish School of Forestry building in Balloch, Inverness near our Highlands base.  This instruction came hot on the heels of a job videoing the new Inverness Campus for Highlands and Islands Enterprise.

The enquiry came some 6 weeks before the required shooting date giving us plenty of time to scout the location.  A rare opportunity in this industry!

The brief was to obtain aerial imagery from a variety of angles to include the old college buildings before demolition started in early June 2015.

A UAV is perfect for this task being rapidly deployed and able to obtain great shot from a variety of angles.

The SSF building was a tricky one as it is hemmed in on all sides by mature forestry but our 8 rotor coaxial machine with a 24mp high quality stills camera got the shots!
